Crow's Nest
Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, renowned Seattle architect Ralph Anderson designed this unique waterfront home in 1968. Located at the top of the bluff on nearly 2 acres of lush landscaped and native forested land, this home offers sweeping views of historic Fort Worden beach, picturesque Point Wilson Lighthouse, Puget Sound maritime traffic and Mount Baker.

Crow’s Nest is the site of a Thunderbird Legend as told by Lah-ka-nim, the son of Chet-ze-moka, to author McCurdy in 1951:

“Thunderbird, the provider of rain, abandoned the Makah tribe when it chose the favors of his rival, Seagod. With three progeny, a Thunderbird flew eastward, rounding Point Wilson, where he found a roost on a huge boulder atop the Crow’s Nest. There he could observe Kulshan (Mount Rainer). He brought needed rain to a village of the Chimakum tribe on the beach below.”
